How do I invite NoName Bot to my server?
Click the 'Add to Discord' button on our website. Select your server, grant the necessary permissions, and the bot will join immediately. The bot requires Administrator permission or specific permissions to function fully.
What permissions does NoName Bot need?
For the best experience, NoName needs Administrator permission or these specific permissions: Ban Members, Kick Members, Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Manage Messages, Manage Webhooks, and View Audit Log. The bot will work with fewer permissions but some features may be limited.
Is NoName Bot free to use?
Yes, NoName Bot is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers or paid features. Our goal is to provide accessible security tools for all Discord communities.
How does the jail system work?
When you jail a user with '/jail add', NoName saves all their current roles and assigns them a restricted 'Jailed' role. The user cannot see or interact with most channels. When you release them with '/jail remove', all their original roles are automatically restored. You can also set durations ranging from 15 minutes to permanent.
What are the warning system severity levels?
Warnings have four severity levels: Low (5 points), Medium (10 points), High (25 points), and Critical (50 points). You can configure automatic actions (mute, kick, ban) when users reach certain point thresholds using '/warnings configure'.
Can I customize the anti-spam filters?
Yes! You can configure which filters to enable: link blocking, emoji spam, caps spam, mention spam, and message repetition. Each filter has adjustable thresholds.
How does anti-raid protection work?
Anti-raid monitors join patterns and detects unusual activity. When triggered, it can automatically ban recent joins, lock channels, and enable slowmode. You can adjust sensitivity levels.
Does NoName log moderator actions?
Yes, NoName maintains detailed logs of all moderation actions. You can view warning history, bans, kicks, and other actions. These logs can be exported or sent to webhook channels.
Can I use NoName with other bots?
Absolutely! NoName is designed to work alongside other bots. It doesn't conflict with moderation bots, music bots, or any other Discord integrations.
